Are sessions confidential?
Information provided to psychologists is confidential. This means we will not disclose your information (or that you have even contacted us) without your permission. Also, psychologists must disclose minimal information related to safety if they are concerned about risk (specifically that you or another person is at risk of harm). Psychologists are also bound by law to report suspected child abuse or that of a vulnerable adult.
